ASHFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Franklin Land Trust is receiving two state grants totaling $287,300 to conserve 171 acres on Bug Hill Road in Ashfield and 99 acres at Shirkshire Farm in Conway. Adding to a 200-acre conservation property on Lake Rohunta, in Orange, the Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust is receiving $235,450 for 48 acres at Eagleville Barrens. The Executive Office of Energy and Affairs administers these PARC and LAND grants.
