Case Dismissed Against Former Buckland Police Chief

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The case against former Buckland Police Chief has been dismissed. Former Police Chief James Hicks was accused of indecent assault and battery on a woman from alleged incidents which took place in 2020 and 2021. In May of last year, the case was continued without a finding, this month the case was dismissed by Judge William Mazanec.
