ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — William Bruce Chiasson has won the vote in the Athol Special Election for a new member of the Select Board with 263 of the 426 votes cast.
The election was held Monday, September 8th and saw a 4.5% voter turnout with four candidates running for office and two write-ins.
Chiasson will be replacing Andy Sujdak, who resigned in April, with a term to expire on April 5th, 2027.
