Deerfield votes down two 2 1/2 overrides

DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Deerfield residents voted against both proposed overrides in the Annual Town Election, one in the amount of just over $100,000 for the South County Senior Center renovation funds (178 yes votes to 864 no votes) and the other was an additional $400,000 for the South County Emergency Medical Services(337 yes votes to 702 no votes).
