GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — With the transition to the new automated single-stream recycling system in Greenfield, the City is offering a free option to dispose of their old recycling bins. For the months of July and August, the 18-gallon recycling bins can be dropped off at the Transfer Station or at the DPW Office.

Consequently, any bins left at the DPW office may be picked up by residents wishing to reuse them. After August 31st, they may be disposed of at the transfer station for a fee.
