Greenfield Health Department Shuts Down Second Fast Food Restaurant


(Greenfield, MA) An anonymous tip led the Greenfield Health Department to inspect and ultimately shut down the McDonald’s restaurant on Federal Street. When the department inspected the restaurant they found approximately 30 health and safety violations including improperly stored food, out of date food, dirty storage and fryer. The health department plans to reinspected Tuesday.

The KFC and Taco Bell restaurant was reopened for the drive through portion following their closure due to health and safety violations Thursday.
