GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield School Department budget for fiscal year 2027 is a $25.7 million request, a 2% raise over the current fiscal year.

The Greenfield Public Schools budget, one part of the Department’s overall budget in addition to assessments for the Franklin County Technical School among other expenses, will utilize $2.7 million in revolving funds, allowing the schools to maintain services without requesting a Proposition 2 1/2 override to further raise property taxes.
