GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The City of Greenfield has recently completed a transition to single-stream recycling with autmoated collection, and with that has come a record month for recycling. In the month of July, the City collected 128 tons of recycling, the most the City has collected since the beginning of the switch to single-stream. And, there were zero days of contaiminated recycling last month, which means there were no non-recyclable items in recycling bins.
