Poet’s Seat Tower repairs could cost over $400K

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Poet’s Seat Tower in Greenfield has been closed since an inspection in May revealed safety issues. The city has received a rough estimate on repairs which may total over $400,000. The Ways and Means Committee has recommended borrowing up to $100,000 to begin the process.
