GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield Mayor Ginny Desorgher gave an update on the Shelburne Road closure caused by a washout at last week’s City Council meeting. Repairs are estimated to cost $20 million, which is “beyond the city’s means” at this time. The city has been in contact with Shelburne Town officials to ensure the Greenfield residents on the far side of the washout will be attended to in case of emergency.
