NORTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Friday, the Massachusetts Appeals Court affirmed the convictions of Edward Kostek, 46, of South Hadley, a former physical therapist who was convicted of indecent assault and battery on a female patient in his care at Cooley Dickinson Hospital Rehabilitation Services in Northampton.

The Appeals Court concluded that the challenged evidence was properly admitted and that Kostek had not shown that his attorney’s performance warranted a new trial.
