Summer Eats programs receive $535K in state funding

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Healey-Driscoll Administration announced Monday that they have awarded a total of $535,000 in state funding to 55 organizations that sponsor and operate Summer Eats meal sites across Massachusetts. Last summer, an average of 59,000 kids received a meal daily at a Summer Eats site, and 2.5 million meals were served.

Summer Eats will be returning in Greenfield, and other sites across Franklin County.
