Two fatal single-vehicle accidents last week

NEW SALEM, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A 26 year-old died in a single-vehicle crash Friday morning in New Salem. First responders were dispatched to Blackinton Road at approximately 5 a.m., where preliminary investigation shows a Dodge truck traveling southbound crossed lanes and struck a telephone pole, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s office. 

Another single-vehicle crash led to a fatality last week. Thursday evening, on Bondsville Road in Ware a BMW was traveling southbound when it also struck a tree. The 31 year-old male operator was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
